When I select "network" as the location of the restore file, I am presented with the option to add a new "NDAS (network direct attached storge) connection". Everything initially proceeds normally, but the network drive is not visible. However, I have tried to initiate a restore after booting the system from the ATI recovery manager boot disk. I have not yet tried to do a restore from the network drive, while running ATI under windows, but I can see the mapped network drive and the appropriate *.tib file, so I am assuming that a restore is possible, under these conditions. I have been able to perform several scheduled automated backups directly to the network drive. I am currently using a USB powered portable hard drive for this purpose, but space is becoming somewhat limited. I recently purchased an Iomega 1 TB network hard drive and would like to use it in conjunction with my computer backups.
